Application: work into a lather between palms with lukewarm water. Apply to the face using a gentle massaging motion avoiding the eye area. Rinse well and pat dry.

"This is a very gentle foaming cleanser that I alternate with my Shiseido
and Cetaphil cleansers. It is preservative-free and fragrance-free, which
is a nice change . I think it cleans like Cetaphil's normal/oily cleanser,
but it doesn't leave a film. Thus, it seems a bit less moisturizing, yet it
is still non-drying. It doesn't take all the grime away like my Shiseido
cleansers, but I like it, depending on my skin's needs that day. I have
also found it much more gentle than Purpose cleanser on my now very sensitive
skin. A word of caution: it stings the eyes, but I prefer to use an oil-based
remover for eye makeup anyway, so it's not a problem. I really like it. The
