The Cosmetic Clinic was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came to the Cosmetic Clinic, Oct. 4. We gave away prizes, had face peel demonstrations, Juvederm and Botox demonstrations, lots of one-on-one discussions, and ate delicious treats. Thanks to all.

Dr. Carol Piatt treats diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Now in her 22nd year of solo practice, Dr. Piatt focuses on acne treatment, facial diseases, and issues related to skin disease care. She specializes in treating skin cancer as well as acne, facial skin care, rosacea, eczema, rashes, hair and nail disorders, warts and genital warts, moles, keratoses, sweating problems, and cosmetic dermatology procedures. Patients of all ages are seen in the office, from new borns to seniors.

Dr. Piatt is board certified in Dermatology and board certified in Family Practice but limits her practice to Dermatology. She also completed a fellowship in skin cancer prevention, detection and treatment after her three year residency in dermatology. The office does not over-book patients. We accept same day emergency appointments and the Doctor sees patients in the office one Saturday per month, sometimes two.

Cathalene Blake, PA-C
re-joins Dr. Piatt Cathalene Blake PAC has joined Dr. Piatt!
Dr. Piatt is pleased to announce Cathalene Blake, MS, PA-C, has re-joined the medical practice. As a Physician Assistant, Cathalene is focused on cosmetic procedures, primarily the application of Botox and Juvederm. Cathalene co-hosted the Cosmetic Clinics on March 8 and October 4, 2012, and presented actual demonstrations of Juvederm and Botox treatments. Please call the office to check Cathalene's schedule and make your appointment.


Cathalene should be familiar to everyone. She was Dr. Piatt's office manager for more than 9 years during the 1990's and early 2000's. She shares the same values and dedication to the welfare of patients as Dr. Piatt. She left to obtain her graduate degree, then joined the Plastic Surgery Department at Georgetown University Medical Hospital. Please welcome Cathalene back to our practice!
